The ERP Committee develops guidelines for responding to potential releases of airborne substances for use in community emergency planning. ERPGs are air concentration guidelines for single exposures to agents and are intended for use as tools to assess the adequacy of accident prevention and emergency response plans, including transportation emergency planning, community emergency response plans and incident prevention and mitigation.

The next meeting of the AIHA Emergency Response Planning Guidelines (ERPG) Committee will be held February 9 –11, 2011, at the Mainsails Suites Hotel and Conference Center in Tampa, Florida. The meeting is open to the public for observation. Anyone wishing to make a presentation must send notification in advance. Notification and inquiries should be sent to Vicky Yobp.
