A monthly communication between all 25 AIHA student local sections. Its purpose is to share information that is relevant to all student local sections. If you have anything you’d like to see in the monthly digest, please let the Student Local Section Council know.
As students, do you have ideas about how AIHA can support you? Do you have ideas on how to get student local sections talking to each other and building a student community network? How about ideas at a grass roots level on heightening awareness and rallying enthusiasm around choosing our profession as a career choice?
If you do, a leadership role awaits you on the Student Local Sections Council (SLCS)!
Positions of Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary are open. Officers serve a one year term. Ideally, student leaders have at least one year of school left so that their leadership comes from an active student's perspective. Any AIHA student member in good standing may be nominated for the positions of Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary.
Bios and statements of interests for serving as Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary are due to AIHA, tla@aiha.org by Friday, May 11th and will be voted on at the annual SLSC meeting at AIHce.
